In this chapter, the master rave is happy to turn seven years old. He thanks his sister, elie, for giving him a birthday present. He tells her that he is crossing the eastern sea with her, and they are going to go to the island of Ishigaki, which is near the coast of Japan. He shows her the island where the entire nation of Japan was destroyed 400 years ago. He says that he realizes that the power of the rave is not the same as a weapon that can bring about an end to war. He refuses to destroy anyone, resha or shiba.
