In this chapter, the protagonist of the story, poyo, is introduced. He is the editor of a magazine called gazine, which is published in Japan. He tells us that he is a big fan of the manga, rave master, and that the protagonist is the main character. He also tells us about his friend hiroshima, who took the manuscript of the rave master and ran with it. When poyo asks him about the ruby doll, he tells him that it is a bluun doll, but that he doesn't need it because there is no such thing as a "ruby doll" .
