Onigami's raiding party leader asks the rave master if he intends to go rescue the mermaids. The rave master replies that he thinks it would be better if the oni changed their minds. The oni are strong against magic, so they won't be able to use their cannons. The light shell is a gift from Oni, but the cannon isn't yet ready. Oni's forward base tells him that the ogre is coming, but he's not ready yet. The mermaid cannon is supposed to fight demon cards, but it's still not ready. The commander will not harm his own kind, she says, and he should get rid of his dark bring. The next mermaid to be killed is Cymbeline, who gave her life to help the world. The other mermaids are all with her, too.
