In this chapter, we learn that the "star memory" that lucia gave to Nestor is actually the same thing that s/he gave to lucia in the previous chapter. It's a piece of the "sinclaire" that Nestor used to tell Nestor about his father and his escape from the mega-unit. It also tells Nestor about lucia and his evil plans. Nestor doesn't realize that he's missing out on all of this. He's also not aware that the rave that he created is still in its original form. The only way to restore the original form is to use etherion, which resha used to create the original rave. Nestor explains that he can unlock the star memory by reading the four letters on the star's arm. For example, the "i" on his arm means "song continent" and the "ii" means "tremelo mountain regions" . Nestor points out that the landscape has completely changed since they arrived at this point in time. He wonders if he can figure out how to unlock the stars' memories. He grabs the pendant , which he thinks is the one that Nestor stole from lucia. Nestor realizes that the pendant must have been locked away for the last 50 years because it's so similar to the pendant that Nestor gave lucia .
