Back on the lunar surface, the crew is working on extracting water from the moon's surface. They're using the same gloves they use in the capsule to do the work, and they've never used this kind of equipment before. The first thing they do is break up the rock, and then they use a special device to "vaporize" the water into tiny drops. They find water in about a tenth of a percent of the rock. This is a big deal, because it means they can explore the surface of the moon without worrying about contaminating the surface with water. The crew is psyched, and the only thing they're worried about is whether or not they'll be able to use the water to build a home on the moon.
