About This Chapter
In this short scene, the two women discuss the possibility of living in outer space. The first woman, who introduces herself as "San," tells the second woman, "Kouda," that she is a senior at the International Space Station and that she will need to be given a tracheotomy before she can return to Earth. The second woman tells the first woman that even if she is kept alive, she will not be able to see or breathe. The two women agree that, even if a person does not intend to live, they live because they want others to live.
