The next morning, the crew gets ready to go to the lunar landing site, but they're interrupted by the sound of a splash from a nearby swimming pool. The astronauts are worried that the splash is a sign of their claustrophobia, or fear of heights, and they decide to lower the man into the pool to test his reaction. They're worried that he's going to have a panic attack, so they'll have to remove his helmet and put him back on the ground before they can get him out of the water. The men decide to keep the man in the water until they can figure out what's wrong with him, but before they do, they tell him that he can't participate in the e-v-a until he can get his "claustro phobia" out of his system. He's not going to be able to go on any more moon missions until he gets over his "weird condition" , so he asks the men to keep it between them and the doctors. He also asks that they keep it from his family, so that if they find out that he has a "temporary deficiency in physical condition," they won't have to treat him as a freak. He says he'll try to get the doctors to tell him it's a temporary deficiency, but that it'll be very difficult to roll the man back into the water because of his "vulnerability" . He thanks the men for letting him know about his condition, and thanks them for playing the piano so well.
