The next morning, the crew hears the news of three astronauts who have lost their lives in an accident during a mission to the International Space Station. The astronauts' wills are required by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to be signed before any mission begins. The will of the three astronauts, however, is not signed, and the crew is shocked to learn that they will not be able to go back to the station. The three astronauts are Jim Lovell, Scott Carpenter, and Edgar Drusilla. Jim Lovell is the only surviving member of the crew, and he has made it to the third and final test of the capsule.
