The next morning, the gang heads to the deBus kitchen to have lunch. Before they leave, Phil asks if anyone has heard about the "mutta namba" gathering signatures. Phil says he's heard a rumor, but he doesn't know if it's true or not. He wants to know if the man is doing anything to help the cause. He's also worried about the man's reputation, since he yells at people for no reason. He thinks that the man, "Mutta namba," is a courageous man, and that he can do the same things his father did. Phil and the gang decide to go to the mockup version of the bus, where they'll be able to see how many signatures there are. They'll also try to find a place where they can have lunch, since the "jocks" are gathering signatures to scrap the bus. Phil asks about the deal he made with debus, and he says he gave the guy a discount on the super-burger at the debus kitchen. He also tells the gang that they can cut back on the food if they can find a way to save money on the menu. He tells them to look at the menu and see if there's anything they can do to cut down on food. He says that he'll try to ask Jaxa for help gathering more signatures, but that it might not be a good idea, since it might cost them their chance of getting signatures. The gang decides to head back to the office the next morning.
