About This Chapter
In this short scene, Brian asks his dad to show him the "eddie doll" that he promised him would accompany him on his first trip to the moon. Brian's dad tells him that his school is closed today and that his band practice is in progress. He shows his son the "bloodstained souls" symbol on the doll, which reminds him of the death metal he used to play in the band. He wonders why his son would want to follow in his father's footsteps, but his dad points out that space is just as important to him as hell.
