About This Chapter
Now that the capsule is docked to the moon, the crew has a chance to celebrate the occasion. The two men discuss the fact that they are "space brothers" and agree that they should go ahead and open the hatch and explore the lunar surface. Before they do so, however, they take precautions to protect themselves from dust and cosmic rays. The men take off their masks and enter the capsule, which is now twice as big as it was before they arrived. They are very pleased with the spacesuits, and they are sure that the two men bought a cake for their reunion.
