About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the rendezvous between the Orion and the Altair will take place in fifty minutes. The Orion will be docked with the Altair, and the two will return to Earth in a little over one hundred minutes. We learn that this is the first time that Ulysses has been in space, and that he has been writing his novel in Italy. Ulysses says that he can see the "octopus" in the distance, which reminds him of the "rendez vouses" between the two ships.
