About This Chapter
The next morning, the crew prepares to leave the International Space Station and head back to Earth. Before they leave, the astronauts reminisce about the sights they've seen and experienced during their six-month mission. One of the sights that sticks out to the crew is the aurora borealis, a bright, colorful phenomenon that appears in the northern sky during certain times of the year. The crew then prepares to fire its second stage engines, which will allow them to return to Earth in less than two weeks.
