About This Chapter
The next morning, the crew prepares to leave for the International Space Station. As they prepare to leave, the men discuss the location of the landing site. They decide that it should be on the "dark side" of the moon, or "within a crater" . They plan to use a telescope to view the moon's surface, but they also plan to build a human capsule to help them reach the moon. The men discuss how much it will cost to send a man to the moon and how little it will be able to accomplish. They also discuss the need to train an astronaut to operate a manned capsule.
