The next morning, the crew prepares to leave for the International Space Station. The men are greeted by Konstantin's wife and son-in-law, who have come to say goodbye to their families in Russia. Konstantin and his wife are very excited to see their family, and Konstantin says he's looking forward to seeing them again. He's feeling a bit nervous about the upcoming mission, so he asks his wife to help him with his nerves. She does so, and the men are very happy to see her. Konstantin tells his wife that the first time he gave her an assignment was as Brian's replacement, and it was the "stupidest thing" he ever did in his time at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. He went to Russia and became a Russian cosmonaut, which upsets everyone at the agency.
