In this chapter, Phillips and the gang discuss the noise in the house and decide to take refuge in the quietest part of the house. Phillips says that if Phillips had asked him, he would have taken them someplace more grown up. They decide to start a toast to the new mission, and Phillips jokes that they'll take back the "ces" in 66 days. He says that he doesn't have a lot of ideas yet, but he's going to share his thoughts. They'll start off with a toast, and then Phillips asks how they can persuade the gates to cut one million dollars from the mission budget. The only way to do that, he says, is with "action" . They go to the "treat ment room" , where they're supposed to cut off a part of serika's skin. They don't want to hurt her, but they think it's a good idea to do so, since she's been using local anesthetics to treat her wounds. They promise to use the skin cells they've collected from her for their new mission.
