The chapter opens with the voice of the assistant director of the manned space flight division, who is also known as "Tadashi hoshka space-fught division." The voice of this man is familiar to the audience because he issued the orders for the capsule's launch. The assistant director tells the other members of the capsule that one of them will be late for the exam. The other members shout orders at random times until the exam is over. This is done twice a day until the end of the exam, during which time other team members will do the same thing. This man's voice sounds familiar to us because he was one of the team members who issued orders during the second half of the third stage. He tells us that he just gave out a card with his name on it that made him look like a "jackass" . He says that he passed the heavy traffic on the way to the exam on time and that he hopes he doesn't have to make it to the end because he might not make it on time. He also says that they might not be able to make the exam in time because the traffic is heavy for the next 6 kilometers. He adds that he might have to miss the exam if he does not get there in time. As he is about to leave, he sees that the green room where the capsule is to be set up is ready to go. He and his fellow team members clap and cheer as they enter. They are joined onstage by hoshika, who wants to speak to them.
