About This Chapter
This chapter opens with a conversation between the protagonist and the protagonist's friend, a man named amuro, who is a new PR man for the manned expedition team. The conversation is interrupted by the arrival of the protagonist, who introduces himself as "runipa." The conversation continues as the protagonist tells amuro that he has just started working for the team, and that he is very excited to meet him. The protagonist tells him that he and his friend have been making a lot of food for the astronauts, but that they have been getting orders for more food since kei-chan began making them. He tells the protagonist that he will have to sew some of the food onto a piece of cake to make it look like a space cake. When the protagonist asks if the people who ordered the cake were famous or something, the protagonist replies that they wanted him to give them a ring to thank them for the food. He says that if the company wants someone to grow and take responsibility, they should give them the opportunity to do so.
