Back on board the capsule, the astronauts discuss the docking of the capsule with the orion. The docking was successful, but the docking clamp was not successfully locked, so the capsule had to be undocked. The orion and the capsule are heading back to Earth, but they're not sure where to get them back. They're going to keep working, they say, "as planned" . The astronauts say goodbye to each other, and then they go to check on Betty's pulse. She's still bleeding, though, and they don't think she'll survive the landing. The only way to save her, they decide, is to send the capsule to the island of Arec.
