Before departing for the moon, Phil asks if he can say goodbye to him before he leaves. He says he wants to thank Phil for all he has done for him and his mission. He asks Phil to come back to greet him when they return to earth. Phil says he'll go to the launch site and change into his new pressure suits. He's not sure how he's going to fit in his new suit, but he thinks it's a good idea to test it out. Phil and the rest of the crew are ready to go, and Phil says one of them will be the new commander. He doesn't say who yet, but Phil says that he'd prefer to be the commander because he has been up on the moon longer than Phil, and he wants Phil to be able to focus on helping Phil with the launch. Phil promises to give the command back to Phil when they get back to earth, so Phil can thank him.
