About This Chapter
The next morning, Edgar and Brian go for a walk on the lunar surface. Edgar thanks the guys for their hard work and says he'll be back soon. He's glad to see them, though, because he doesn't think they'll make it back in time to see the launch. He says they're going to have to wait until the next day to do the debriefing, so they can get some rest before they go back to the capsule. Edgar says he wants to see his hand, so he asks the guys to hold off on the debriefing until after he's showered and gotten some rest. They do, and Edgar says it's just what he'd like from a captain. He thanks them for doing such a good job out on the moon, and says they can wait until they've had a chance to shower and get some sleep before they start the debriefing. He also says that they can have a look at his hand and see if it hurts. He asks them to wait, and they agree. They look at some of the footprints that Brian left on the ground after he put Damian down. They're the same footprints that Edgar saw on the way back from the capsule landing. Edgar also sees a foot print that looks like a memorial to Brian.
