About This Chapter
Back on board the capsule, the crew is getting ready to leave for the supply ship drop-off point. They're getting ready for a big solar flare, which means they're going to have to stay inside for a while. The guys are excited to see what's going on outside. The sun's getting hotter and hotter, and it's starting to look like the aurora borealis is going to be a thing again. The crew welcomes the arrival of the ship, which is carrying supplies for the lunar outpost. They have a message for the mission's super-computer, sharon, who's wearing a pair of sneakers that remind him of the pair of shoes he and the crew used to wear back on the moon. He's bummed that he's not going to walk again, but the guys are keeping him on his toes, and they've granted him a request to send the same pair to the crew as well. The only thing that can stop the mission is a giant solar storm, which could last for a month. The other crew members are psyched to see that the crew has started developing a new drug to help them walk again.
