About This Chapter
The next morning, the three men discuss the upcoming launch of the International Space Station. They joke about the fact that the capsule will orbit the earth at an altitude of 400 miles above the surface of the earth, which makes it impossible for them to see the entire earth from the capsule's orbit. They also joke that the only thing they can eat with meat is a cola, which is the same thing they drink with coffee. One of the men says that he wants to know what the other men think of the upcoming candidate for anastronaut, a man who will be sent into space to study the Earth's atmosphere. The three men agree that the best candidate for the job is Kenji, but they disagree about who the man should be.
