About This Chapter
It's been a few days since they left the antenna, and they're still trying to figure out how to get to the top of the mountain. They're not sure if they'll be able to get there in a week or a month, but they've got a good idea: the island's king, Kishikiori, is in charge of the island, and he's got a bunch of guys who know how to spy on each other and beat people up if they don't comply with his orders. Um, that's a pretty old-school way of doing things, isn't it? Oh yeah, and Kishiori's not the only one who knows how to do this. He's also a good writer, so he knows a thing or two about the yakuza. He also knows a lot about how to fake the appearance of the antenna to make it look like it's coming from a real animal, like a chimera or something. Oh, and one more thing: the antenna was discovered during World War Two, so it must have been used to track enemy radars.
