Now that we've seen the saki, we know what's going on: it's a big, strong, and agile creature that's been hiding out in the jungle. It's kind of like a super-human version of the Terminator, except that instead of being a giant, super-strong, and super-friendly creature, it'd be like a little kid who's just rescued her mom from underneath a car. Oh, and by the way, that kid's name is Khei, and he's the guy who played the part of the super-man in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. He's super strong, super agile, super friendly, super super-smart, and so on and so forth. But he also has a brain injury, which means that he can't run around like a normal human can. So, yeah, he can run around and jump like a crazy person, but he can only do it because of his brain injury. The two of them have been watching Khe for three days now, and they've been watching him since he fell down here. They've also been watching his group, which includes Sengoku and the rest of the gang, since they're still fighting the monster, even though the kid has been eaten by the monster. But, as it turns out, the kid is still alive, and the other guys have been trying to rescue him. KHei's got a little more time to kill the monster before he gets eaten, so he'll do it.
