In the middle of the night, Miina, Mariya, and Enobaruchi are all alone together. They've been attacked by the cyclotosauruses, and they can't figure out how to get out of the way. Miina is worried that they're going to be eaten by the animals, but she's also worried that the killer will be able to catch up to them. She's worried that if they don't get away, they'll be killed. She asks the others to help her escape, but they all agree that it's best if they get away first.
