In this chapter, we find out that the three people who disappeared earlier in the day have all disappeared. We learn that Hiroshi, Eiken, and em>Ixo/em> have all vanished, leaving only their bags behind. Hiroshi and Eiken have vanished, too, leaving behind their bags as well. Eiken has also vanished, but he has left behind only his bags, too. As Hiroshi searches for his missing friend, he realizes that he promised to find her one more time, and so he decides to do so.
