When the group returns to the cave, they find that everyone is sick except for yarai, who seems to have died of a cold. He also tells them to gather up their belongings and says that he thinks they may have picked up a bug from the Volcano and brought it to the island. He tells them not to touch him, and they all leave the cave. When he asks why they did not say something to him, he says that it is because he is panting and has a fever. He says that his eyes are the first time he has ever had a fever, and he is afraid that he is going to die. He asks the group to come with him back to the Volcano.
