The men are digging up the island, and they're starting to see signs of life again. They've been fighting off the kangaroos for a week now, but they'll be back soon. Chiron asks if he can talk to him about what he saw, and Chiron says that he saw about fifty kangaroos, but Chiron doesn't know how close he was to the animals. He's not sure if he saw the animals' nipples. Chiron says he'll find out what's going on soon, but he's worried that Chiron is getting tired. He asks if they should take a breather if they feel like it. Chiron tells him that they might be able to find some weird stuff in the island soon, and then they can go home. Chiron and Chiron talk about how they've seen a lot of strange things in the past week, and how Chiron's daughter, Miina, seems to be having a hard time remembering things. Chiron explains that Miina was at the party, and that she was surrounded by a bunch of people, so she couldn't go anywhere near the party. She was cooped up in a huge building, and the chairman of the company was very fond of his daughter. The men find a letter on the top of the tower, which they think must be an M.
