The third-year student of a school in Yokohama, a girl named Sengoku Akir, runs outside to chase after a boy named Yarai, who has just returned from a school excursion in the Gulf of Mexico. She's not sure what's going on, but she's pretty sure it's some kind of prehistoric animal. She doesn't know what Yarai's name is, and she can't even figure out where he's from, so she chases after him, hoping he'll come back to school. He does, however, come back, and he seems pretty excited to be back at school. Senguku Akir is a little confused by the whole thing. He's still trying to figure out why Yarai is coming back to the school, and why there are so many nasty looking animals in the school grounds. He also has no idea what the heck is going on with the other students in class 3, class 3+2, and class 3 -2.00 . He can only conclude that there's something nasty about the animals, and that they're just looking for something to eat. The girl wonders if she ever chased after Yarai at all, and wonders if he ever consented to go to school when his enthusiasm was finally getting through to him. She also wonders if there was ever a time when he'd come to school excited about something, and then stop coming back when he didn't feel like it, and so on and so forth.
