This chapter opens with a conversation between huangpu and Minghua. Minghua is concerned about the upcoming battle because of the strength of the enemy, and he wants to test Minghua's benevolence. He tells Minghua that the flower-rain-tower is the weakest of the seven families, and that chu-bijun is even more troublesome than long-yifei, but Minghua assures him that he will be able to deal with the latter. He also tells him that zhuo-fan is not a threat to Minghua because he is just a "bone- forging realm cultivator." Minghua then tells him about the fact that the enemy has already cultivated the armor of the monarch, but he is still thinking about the other humph. He says that the king is sure to kill the brat after cultivating the armor. He asks Minghua if he has ever seen him take back what he said.
