In this chapter, we learn that the kid is using a "level 2 demonic defensive instrument" to protect himself from the monster. The kid is holding a level 5 "gathering realm cultivator" , and the weapon is so powerful that it scares the living daylights out of the kid. He's a master at "the peak of bone- forging realm" . This kid is a "monster" and he's about to kill the kid with his second strike , so the kid has no choice but to beat the kid down with his sword.
