In this chapter, the young man tells us that he's worried about what will happen to his reputation if he doesn't kill the monster. He thinks that if he kills the monster, he'll be able to claim that he killed the monster because he killed him. He's also worried that if the monster kills him, the monster will kill him too. The young man thinks that the monster is so clever that he can defeat even the strongest cultivators in the world. He also thinks that even if he were to kill him, he wouldn't have much of a chance because the monster's pace is so fast. He wonders if he has forgotten him.
