About This Chapter
In the midst of the battle, Kui realizes that he is being dishonored by his love rival, and he curses him for his dishonorable behavior. He tells his friend that he will teach him a lesson, and that he should not have dishonored his miss. Kui says that he does not blame his friend for what he did, because he is an advanced mortal. He says that if he were a level 5 cultivator, he would be considered a loser, but if he was a level 7 or higher, he could be counted on as a victor. He compares Kui's defeat to a mountain-shaking rumble, and says that Kui is clearly stronger than his rival. He points out that if Kui had used his whole strength to defeat his rival, then he would have also been considered a loss. He adds that he admires Kui for picking the right man for his love, and Kui praises him for being able to save his love. He asks Kui to let his love rivals go, but Kui refuses, saying that they are coming soon.
