The next morning, the three men are still in the Flower Rain City. They have not heard from the boy, who has left without saying a word to them. When they ask him what he did, he tells them that he had repaid them for the medicine, and that he would not have any contact with them any longer. They are shocked, and wonder how he could say such a thing. They believe that he is a "brat" and a "heartless brat" . They realize that he has lied to them, but they still believe in their love for each other. They wonder why he gave them the elixir he made for the elixir king competition, and why he did not give them any of the other elixirs that he made. They admire him for making the elixir so easily, and they are still connected.
