The narrator tells us that he called on the girls he likes to confess their sins to him. He's so happy to have done so, but he's also worried that they're not going to be able to forgive him for what he did. He wants to be the one to confess, so he asks the girls if they'd like to say something to him first. First off, he apologizes for all of his sins, and then he wants to tell them how sorry he is and how much he loves them. He says he can't just say "I love you" with a few words. He needs to be a man, he says.
