Working on the festival committee, Tommo asks himself who should be the first in the three-legged race. He doesn't want to be judged by his age, but he also wants to know how his friend kanda feels about the festival. He wonders if there might be a way to find out about kanda's feelings for Mina and Sunagawa. He also wonders if some people might use the festival as an opportunity to start dating. He asks if there is anyone on his mind that he would like to hang out with. He says that he'd cheer him on as a friend, but how would he feel if he got a girl friend? Well, he says, he already knew that kanda felt that way. But he hopes for more. Then again, if he gets a boy friend, it would be rude to him. He wants to keep hanging out with him if he can figure out what she's talking about. Then he asks if he should try to flirt with her. She sounds serious, and he says he'll turn her down. But if she does flirt with him, then he's not going to turn him down. He just wants to see what she says.
