The narrator tells us that since he fell in love with Haruki, he's been awkward with him. He's not sure if he wants to go out anymore, or if he'd like to be friends with him again. Haruki doesn't seem to like him, though, and he avoids him. The narrator says that he should apologize to Haruki and try to get him to talk to him again, but Haruki won't listen. He says that if he keeps trying, she'll think that Haruki is being annoying to her, and Haruki will think that it's a waste of time. He wonders if he should have confessed to her earlier. He tells us, "I've wanted to be with apolo but I gize just you . . I've been trying to get to kanda but couldn't figure out the right time" . He asks Haruki if he can pretend to be over the whole thing, and if he still wants to make up with her, then he can do so, too. He wants to know if she's okay, and she says that she is, but that she can't pretend that she isn't sorry. She's glad that they've made up, but she feels conflicted about it.
