In this short scene, Mina tries to convince her brother that she is being deceived by the "evil woman" , who is trying to trick her into believing that she has fallen in love with someone else. She tries to make him feel guilty for his part in the deception, but he refuses to admit that he is the one who has fallen for her. He tells her that he will walk her to the train station and that he still hates her for earlier in the scene.
