"Love is ugly mon," the narrator tells us. He's been summoned by the girl he's hanging out with, and she's asking him to meet her new boyfriend. The narrator says he'll be going to meet the boy, but he'd better stay away from the girl, because she might already be in love with someone else. He says he doesn't want to hinder his friend's love life, and that'd be a bad idea. He tells us that the boy is "a real swell guy" , but that he might suspect something's wrong. He also says that if he sees the girl with another guy, he'm sure that the girl is in love, too. The two of them have been hanging out for two hours now, and the narrator says they're just going to have to wait. He asks the boy to go home if he wants to, but the boy says he can't go, because he was harboring feelings for the girl. He then asks the girl if she'd like to know how the man feels about her . The girl says she'll tell him, but she'm not sure what to say.
