In this short scene, the narrator and his friend Siddhartha are shopping at a music store. The narrator is confused by the fact that his friend is there to buy a new CD. He tries to convince himself that he doesn't hate the man, but he is interrupted by his friend, Shubusa, who tells him that there are two new CD's that he wants to buy. He tells the narrator that the first one is by a band called The Raconteurs, and the second is by The Flaming Lips. The two men try to convince each other that they don't like the other's music, but the narrator convinces himself that they do, and he goes off to buy the second CD.
