In this short scene, we learn that Shujisaki is counting on us to find her mask. We learn that she gave it to Sejima sempai and then she transformed into Miss Karate. She doesn't want the others to find out that she's been running away from home for three years. Shuji asks if he's found the mask, and he says that he hasn't yet heard from her. He says that it's time for her to show up on stage without her mask, so he'll go on stage alone. He tells us that he allowed Sejima to buy her a guitar so that she would have something she enjoyed. The truth is that the masked guitar isn't for her, but for the sake of her mother. She's here, she says, and she wants to do whatever she likes. He asks if she still wears the mask. She says that she does, but that she still needs the mask because she looks like she is lying to herself. She asks him to keep the music down so she won't have to show off her new guitar. He's not into it, he says, because he was " wasting his time" on things like that.
