This is a locked chapter19_ Let's Make Sure
About This Chapter
The narrator tells us that the student council president caught him smoking the other day and asked him to go out and smoke with him, but the narrator never agreed to do so. The two of them only kissed once, and the narrator says that this is not the first kiss he's ever had, and that he doesn't think he can make a girl fall for him. The narrator then goes on to tell the girl that she's not really like her at all, that she has no friends, and is always sleeping in the classroom. He tells her that he thought she was the "kind of girl" who would sleep with someone who offered in, and he was right. He says that if she were a "skirter," she'd be "easy game," and that she might be a "little scrawny," but she is really just a "miscreant." The narrator asks the girl why she wants to sleep with her, and she says that someone wanted to take her for herself before she was taken away by another guy. He asks her what she means by "fall in love," and the girl says that she hasn't yet fallen in love, but that she would like to.
