The scene opens with a soliloquy from the protagonist, who tells us that he's finally going to have sex with his "girl friend" . He tells her that they've been planning it for two weeks, but now that his "par ents" are on a trip, it's no longer on the docket. He's bummed out, but he doesn't want to let her down. He asks her if she wants him to go home, and she says no, but she's not sure why he wants her to go back to her bad self. She tells him that she just wants to be alone with him, and he says that's why he came over to see her, even though his stomach is killing him. He apologizes for being a jerk, and says that if she wanted him to leave her "bad self," then he'd never come back. He says that he was just acting like a "dick head" , and that she should be ashamed of herself for coming to see him even though she feels like crap. She apologizes, and then she says that she loves him, but that she can't figure out why he is so mad.
