This is a locked chapter63_ Go Forth Over My Dead Body
About This Chapter
In this short scene, we learn that a girl named Mina has been asked to meet a boy at the school. The girl, who we'll call Mina, is a kind hearted maiden who fancies a boy named Yosakum, but doesn't know what to do with him. Mina explains that she's never met a girl who called her out before, and that she was nervous because she'd never met anyone before. She asks the boy why he asked her to come, and the boy explains that he made too much "pudding" for her, and she was worried that he wouldn't like it, so she asked him to come with her. The boy says that he'd feel terrible if he took it off his hands, and Mina says that's not the way girls feel. She says that she thought of the boy and didn't think of him, so it's impossible that she had him in mind when she called him out. Mina says she'll leave the two of them to talk in peace, but the boy says he's also incompetent, and he feels bad taking the girl's good will for himself. He says that if the girl had given him the pudding, she would have spread rumors about him, which would have made it seem like he was a bad person, and it would have also made it look like he wasn't really a good person. Mina asks the boys if they'd like to eat the pudding together, and they say they'll do so.
