172_ Chasing the Stars
This is a locked chapter172_ Chasing the Stars
About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a description of the chase-the-star exhibit. The two boys are in the middle of making the display when they are interrupted by the sound of a boy's voice announcing that he is going to leave the club. The boy asks the boy why he is leaving, and the boy tells him that he wants to tell him something important. When the boy asks why, the boy says that the boy is leaving the club because he has a crush on a girl. He tells the boy that he has to teach the boy how to love something, and that he must teach him how to do so. He says that when he first met the boy, he looked like there was nothing in the world he liked, and he hoped the boy didn't ask questions about it. He then asks if the boy likes the stars, and when the boy replies that he does, he says that he likes having fun more than anything in the universe. He explains that he made the display to make the boy happy, and to show him that there are many other things to love than the stars. He invites the boy to go out with him, but the boy refuses, saying that he doesn't want to cry. He asks if he can go with him to the other side of the exhibit, where the other boys will be more motivated to show off their talents.
