It's the middle of the night, and the narrator and Ryoko are hanging out after school. The narrator complains that Ryoko is too self-absorbed and self-conscious, and he wonders what normal people do when they're out in public. Ryoko reminds him that they haven't been to class in a while, so maybe they should just chill out and enjoy each other's company. The two of them argue about whether or not they should chill out, and then Ryoko tells the narrator that she's tired of being called a "ty," "betiful," or "pretty," and that she doesn't want to be called "cute" anymore. She says she'll just look at the narrator instead.
