Act 6 opens with a soliloquy about the evils of the undead. The undead master is keeping them all captive and protecting them. He doesn't seem to understand why they want to sacrifice their own family members. Even though he's the one who caused the whole mess, he still wants to help. He tells the others that his father once told him about the medicinal herbs that were being collected outside the mountains. He says that the outside world wouldn't know about the sins of his family, so why should they? Everyone got along well before the undead appeared, and no one ever mentions da bais sins. They offer the two of them, and the sacrifice, to the undead master. The master introduces himself as "xiaoxiaobai" , and he explains that he is the ancestor of the two undead masters. He explains that one year, a village was hit by a disaster, and everyone's body parts would shrink and disappear completely. Because da Bai's family lives outside the village, the villagers drank water from another source, and rumors began to circulate about their complete sets of limbs. They're healthy, he says, because they've been using weird medicines and even testing them on animals
