This chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, where the villagers are talking about the great magic that they used to summon the undead. The villagers are shocked to learn that the undead are augmented with a video recording device. They wonder how they can use such a powerful device to summon such a large number of undead. They also wonder if the village's magical tool might be able to reproduce such an event. They decide that they need to kill the undead, but they can't kill them all because the wound is too big. They need to use the undead's "gifted powers" to slay them all. They find the corpses lying in the back of the undead and wonder where they came from. They realize that they have been using every trick they can think of to get the undead to stop attacking them. They finally realize that the hole in their dog's paw is too small and they have to use their "great magic talisman" to get rid of the bugs. They think that they can remove the magic talisman and kill the insects, but that they won't be able.
