In this chapter, we learn that the magic lamp is a one-time consumable item that can only be used for a short period of time. In other words, it is not a magical talisman, but rather an expensive item that is only used for one time. We learn that it is illegal to sell such items, and that they sell them at a very high price. We also learn that this is not the first time that the protagonist has tried to use the lamp, as he did in the previous chapter. In fact, the protagonist's first attempt at using the lamp was so successful that he wanted to kill himself with it. He tells us that the lamp is too dangerous to use, as the augmented undead will soon be able to destroy it. The protagonist decides to go back to the pavilion and report the situation to the master.
